Margin District project brings more tourism charm to downtown Franklin
May 5, 2025 – FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — A new high-end, mixed-use development is in the works on the south side of historic downtown Franklin.
The Margin District is a $165-million project that will include 25 luxury residential units ranging in size from 2,000 to 3,500 square feet and have a price tag of more than $2 million. There will also be 50,000 square feet of retail space and another 50,000 square feet of executive office space.
The development will serve as an addition and new attraction to downtown Franklin and Main Street, which are the No. 1 drivers of tourism in Williamson County.
“One of everyone’s favorite things about downtown Franklin is the walkability that adds so much to the charm and character of the city and at the Residences at The Margin District, not only are you walkable to downtown, but downtown will walk to you,” said Megan Garrett, a real estate agent with Beacon Group of Tennessee at Fridrich & Clark Realty, the team marketing the Residences at the Margin District.
