The developer has broken ground on The Margin District, a large mixed-use development in downtown Franklin.

June 11, 2025 – A $165 million development is preparing to transform downtown Franklin.

Developers have broken ground and revealed new images of The Margin District, a luxury mixed-use development just south of Five Points in Franklin, according to a news release.

NAI Nashville Stanton Group is leading development of the project which is set to include 25 luxury homes, 50,000 square feet of retail, and office space.

“We are bringing new energy to downtown’s periphery, creating even more reasons to visit, enjoy a meal or shop with friends and family,” Devin McClendon, CEO of NAI Nashville Stanton Group, said in a release. “It really is a rare opportunity to have a prime address in a historic setting in one of the South’s most desirable communities.”

Retail and office leasing are underway for the development.
